Spring Brown Trout Sport Fishing Charters on Lake Ontario

April & May means prime time fishing for Football Browns in Mexico Bay, Lake Ontario.  We start the season trolling the shoreline with planner boards, looking for warm water pockets.  I love this time of year, after a long winter, nothing cures cabin fever like fighting these spunky fish on light tackle with my all new top of the line rods and reels.

Most days we're running 10 rods so multiple hookups are common, doubles, and triples. Let's not forget the bonus fish. Last year we saw a bunch of Atlantic Salmon, some nice Coho Salmon, some big Lake Trout, and trophy size Walleyes.  Last year on a single six hour charter saw 4 big fish headed to the taxidermist, a 11 lb & 13 lb brown, 11 lb lake trout, and a 9 lb walleye.

All tackle is included, in fact, I have tons of tackle.  Lots of my lures are custom painted, after 24 years, I know what it takes to put these fish on the line for you.  Check out my spring brown trout video on the media/gallery page, more videos to come in 2011.

Salmon Sport Fishing Charters on Lake Ontario

The salmon sport fishing in Lake Ontario is some of the finest in the world. Last year in August we landed over 60 Salmon in just 3 days of fishing. Some of these fish are huge and fight like a bull, I've seen them strip off 400, 500, even 600 feet of line on a single run. I've spent the last 24 years catching these monsters and I still get excited putting someone on their first Salmon, oh, and don't worry if you've never fished before. We take lots of people fishing with little or no experience, you'll catch on quick. My new 27 foot sportcraft is loaded with the latest in tackle and electronics, and talk about roomy, this boat can handle up to 6 clients comfortably. Please don't hesitate to call my cell phone to ask any questions, I'm on the water almost everyday and sometimes it takes awhile to answer emails.
